This was one of the favorite places we stayed on our trip! The setting is absolutely beautiful within the sand dunes and right on the beach. The yard is so beautiful with many plants and trees and the rooms were very comfortable. The owner was beyond amazing and went out of his way to make our stay amazing. He even helped us to order dinner from a restaurant for delivery and reheated the food for us. The breakfast was outstanding. I would recommend this place to anyone and hope we can come back! Thanks again.

Sri and his team went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The service and kindness were truly exceptional. Worth noting: On our second night, we were offered a complimentary upgrade to the honeymoon room—an all-glass, secluded space perched on a sand dune with an ocean view. Waking up there was truly magical. Sri is also an Ayurvedic master. He gave me an unforgettable full-body treatment, and the next morning, we had a yoga session by the pool. In both activities, he not only demonstrated deep expertise but also explained the underlying principles of Ayurveda in a way that was easy to grasp. I highly recommend trying these. At 5 a.m., they had arranged a fishing trip with local fishermen. Although it was too windy to go out to sea, they adapted the plan and taught us stationary fishing on the beach instead. The fishermen eventually caught some small crabs, which the chef prepared for breakfast—such a unique experience. We really appreciated the opportunity to plant a tree with our name in their garden at the end of our stay. The pool overlooking the ocean was also a highlight. If you're looking for an authentic, thoughtfully curated experience by the ocean—one that also aligns with sustainable, long-term goals—this is the place to go. An Absolute Hidden Gem – Pure Magic at Dolphin Beach Resort I stayed at Dolphin Beach Resort for one night with my friend Arif, and honestly, I’m still dreaming about it. This place is gorgeous—a hidden gem tucked away in serene Kalpitiya that deserves way more attention than it gets. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted. The property is huge, incredibly clean, and so peaceful that it felt like time slowed down. The architecture is stunning—eco-chic in the best way. We stayed in one of their luxury tents, and let me just say... it was out of a dream. Spacious interiors, a thoughtfully designed bathroom, and an outdoor shower that made me feel like I was in a nature-luxe fantasy. The view? Breathtaking. There's even a windmill nearby that adds a rustic charm to the horizon, and we loved it—it added so much character to the vibe. The pool was picture-perfect, and the whole atmosphere just made us feel like we had escaped to our own private paradise. Dinner was beautifully arranged—delicious, fresh, and served with care. In the morning, we asked if we could have breakfast by the beach, and they went out of their way to set it up for us. That gesture alone won my heart. I truly don’t understand why this place isn’t packed—maybe that’s part of its charm. But trust me, more people need to discover this slice of heaven. I’ll definitely be going back. A day before the end of our pedal bike expedition. We arrived in Puttalam after pushing against heavy winds for more than 80km. Tired and stinking actually. Bassam, the owner and care taker of Just Inn, spoke and helped us secure the bicycles. Just inn is a kind of AirBnB or simple and beautiful homestay for any tourist. We stayed that night, tidied ourselves. Bassam rode us in his tuk tuk to the salt flats near by and later we went to a one of its- state of the art - kind of small veg hotel for dinner. We both are lifelong vegeterians. Just Inn is a simple and beautiful homestay. Clean and comfortable stay - like a home - one night or 10 nights - the experience is lively. Anyone who wish to stay there can ask Bassam about our endurance journey in SriLanka. Even though we spent very short time there at Bassam’s place.. a strong bonding was made and I think we will remember each other for a lifetime.. Thank you Bassam for everything…

This place is a true little paradise! Martinez and his colleague looked after us very well, kindly upgrading us to a bigger bungalow with a kitchen as we were the only guests. The bungalow was perfectly clean and so were the pool and the rest of the grounds. The location is great with the property being right by the beach. We were even allowed to cut some coconuts out of the trees and enjoy fresh coconut water. They have a cook that can you provide you with meals, one evening we ordered a fish BBQ at the beach, which was fantastic! We can highly recommend Nayan’s Paradise!
