This hotel was outstanding! Impeccably clean, with delicious food and incredibly kind staff. They went above and beyond to solve a problem we had, arranging everything perfectly for the next day. Super organized and attentive. Highly recommended for an exceptional stay! Dinner was excellent, with an exceptional rice & curry and delicious kottu (a local specialty).

The food was absolutely amazing and plentiful - I was served traditional Sri Lankan breakfast with hoppers, string hoppers, curry, and fresh tropical fruits that exceeded all my expectations. The portions were generous, more than I could finish in one sitting. Fonseka isn't just a host but a very knowledgeable tour guide who went above and beyond to enhance my stay. He recommended hidden local gems not found in tourist guides, shared fascinating historical details about Anuradhapura's ancient sites, and arranged transportation that made exploring effortless. His insights about the Sacred Bo Tree and Ruwanwelisaya stupa added tremendous value to my visit. My room was spotlessly clean with comfortable bedding and effective air conditioning - essential after long days exploring in the Sri Lankan heat. The garden setting provided a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. I felt safe and genuinely welcomed throughout my stay. The value for money was exceptional considering the personalized service and included breakfast. Our stay at Corner Cottage was great! The couple where so welcoming and warm. The food they cooked for us was so tasty! We did a cooking class with them aswell, which was so fun and interesting! They took such good care of us. The room is simple, yet spacious and clean, as is the bathroom. The bed was big, so very comfortable for my 2 meter long boyfriend ;) You also have a living area with sofas. If you go to Anuradhapura, I would really recommend staying at Corner Cottage!

My wife and I spent two delightful nights at this enchanted resort. Sameera was a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble for him. Breakfast and dinner were delicious especially when eaten al fresco. The tree-top accommodation was well appointed and charming. Going to sleep at night was blissful listening to the sounds of the forest. Chilling out here is so easy, but book early as there are currently only three lodges. Highly recommended.

IsI liked it very much there! It's small and the host Jondi is really nice and suuper friendly. The hostel has a great atmosphere. It's close to the city but quiet with a beautiful garden and the lake nearby. You can rent a bike and cycle to the ancient city in 10 minutes. I would definitely recommend staying there!

The room was super clean and comfortable, The bathroom was spacious with large shower and plenty of warm water The breakfast and dinner were both outstanding, with well-prepared local dishes that really showcased the flavors of the area.
