Lovely authentic place. In our two weeks holiday with a lot of luxery resorts, this was the one we have the warmest feeling about. When you are looking for a not so touristic area, some magnificent views, a little farm life, and some great staff, go here. Oh and go for the Sri Lanken Kitchen, that’s better then the European:)

I stayed overnight at this hotel and was very pleased. The room is comfortable, there is everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Delicious and varied food is prepared and served upon request at any time. The owner of the hotel Anju is friendly and caring, very pleasant to talk to and friendly. On my next trip to Sri Lanka, I will definitely come to this wonderful hotel.

Spacious comfortable room with separate entrance. Large bathroom with shower. Beautiful scenery if a little remote ( not a criticism, just something to be aware of) Walking opportunities straight from door. The weather wasn’t kind to us but we did get one morning when we were able to do the tea experience. The best part for me was the food - they prepared some wonderful gluten free Sri Lankan meals for me which was the best food I had in our 3 week trip. Dave is very engaging and we enjoyed our chats with him.

The food was amazing and the staff Christopher, Ashoka and Silva were amazing . The staff was very attentiveand helpful. The rooms were clean and the location was nice too. Enjoyed the stay.

We just had the most incredible 2-night stay at Blue Mountains View and we can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Host Pradeep and his adorable 6-week-old daughter Thia were so welcoming. Venue manager Dishani’s warmth and hospitality made our stay feel personal and special. She gave us a fantastic introduction to the farm, explained everything in detail, and provided great instructions for a walk to the nearby village (which we highly recommend – it’s a must-do!). Deshani’s care really made us feel like we were part of their family. We initially booked a non-A/C room by mistake, but Pradeep was kind enough to reorganize our stay and moved us to a comfortable A/C room, which was much appreciated. Do note that two of the rooms don’t have A/C, so make sure to check the room details if you prefer that extra comfort. The food at Blue Mountains View was truly a highlight. All meals are vegan, prepared with love by Pradeep’s mama, and every dish was absolutely delicious! We had breakfast and dinner at the farm, and the meals were so fresh and flavorful. As the food is vegan and we needed some protein, we bought some eggs on our way back from Sigriya, and Deshani kindly helped us have them cooked for both dinner and breakfast. Pradeep’s uncle Thisa took us on a special tour of the farm, which was a unique experience. We got to learn about the organic farming process and saw firsthand how they grow their crops. It was an insightful and heartwarming experience, and it made us appreciate the farm even more. Overall, our stay at Blue Mountains View was unforgettable. The combination of warm hospitality, incredible food, and the peaceful, beautiful surroundings made it an experience we’ll cherish. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Dambulla and looking for a relaxing, authentic experience. Thank you, Pradeep, Thia, Deshani and Thisa for making our stay so special!

This place was an absolute experience! The views were seriously breathtaking and most of all if you are looking to relax, connect with nature and have the best time disconnecting this is the ideal place. The food served was really delicious as well. Would recommend this 100% to anyone travelling solo or with a family.

Amazing place in amazing location with amazing owners! I loved it from the very beginning. I usually travel with public transportation and Nadie helped me to get to their place from the main nearby town and later gave me a ride back. She also was very helpful with organizing for me a transport to main sights in the area - Arankele Forest Monastery and Ridi Viharaya (I had a scooter but it was also possible to go with a tuk tuk driver). Breakfast and dinner were made at home and they were delicious and the portions were big enough. I also had some fresh fruit juices and fruits, it was amazing! There is also a nice swimming pool with trees and bushes around. It’s so beautiful 😍 Important to note that there is almost no internet connection there, I don’t find it as a disadvantage but if you want to work online from there, that might be impossible. However, if you want to relax, go offline and enjoy the nature as me - that’s the best place to go! Thank you Nadie for taking such a great care of me! I will definitely be back! 🥰
