I would recommend this place to everyone! The host was so incredibly hospitable and sweet. She helped us with the elephant trip, cooked us an amazing dinner and breakfast and was just all around incredibly accommodating. She even let us stay a little while longer to freshen up and prepare for the next leg of our journey, after we came back from half a day in Anudharapura. You really see that she loves hosting and it shows in everything she does for her guests.

Went for a quick transit stay to spend the night. They even arranged the pick-up from the railway station which was very convenient given the time we arrived. From the welcome drink that was served even at late at night to the dinner served before checking out was all exceptional. The staff was very professional respectful. They humbly attended our requests The food and the serving was top-notch The location is easy to reach and the hotel premise has a lovely landscape with a pool Will visit again. I would recommend this to anyone who is planning to travel to Minneriya / Hingurakgoda.

We stayed at Aroma Villa Homestay and it was wonderful. The place is cozy, the owners are very kind and helpful, and their hospitality is excellent. Breakfast was delicious. We definitely recommend staying here!

We had an incredible one night stay at Green Garden Homestay. Nillu (the guest) was super friendly, cooked delicious food for dinner and breakfast and we had a great conversation with her and her son. She also helped us arrange the safari to Huluro Eco Park, where we could see lots of wild elephants. We fell in love with her dog Elly, she was so cute and barked at the monkeys that tried to get close to the house! We would repeat for sure and recommend to our friends visiting Sri Lanka

Beautiful & quite location with amazing view of greenery paddyfields, very clean & big rooms with balcony, Their food was amazing! they cooked very fresh Srilankan Rice & Curry for us, Friendly staff & helpful owner who support for everything. The room was beautiful, with a very nice view of the lake and the bathroom was amazing, the experience of having shower in the middle of the nature is so great! We also enjoy having drinks at night in the beautiful garden in front of the lake. The breakfast and the dinner is delicious. We took a massage and it was so relaxing… a perfect place to enjoy the nature (safaris are quite near) and relax

The staff was amazing. Specially the boys from restaurant. They were really kind to us. We were late for the breakfast on the day we went on the safari they waited us to come and finish breakfast. I really think the hotel owner should give them an increment. Food was delicious. We had some clothing to get washed. I gave them around 8.00 in the morning. I received all back washed, dried, ironed and folded by 12.30. very kind people including the reception. The hotel arranged us the safari for a reasonable price. The driver was the most kind safari driver I have ever met. We have been to other places too. But didn't meet a person who care for the animals this much. Had the best day. Thank you.

The owner was very nice to me. He offered me free drining water and arranged it himself. Two times I got lost, I couldn't find my way to the guest house, since it's a bit further inside from the main road. He was very kind to come and pick me with his motorcycle. The room and toilet was newly built and clean. AC was working perfectly fine, although during night I didn't need it. The bed was comfortable and huge. He also provided me with cutleries when I needed. There's public transport available to Pollonaruwa 10 minutes walking distance from the place. Getting a Tuktuk might be a bit challenging.

Great view of lions rock from the terrace and from of the more special rooms ,check in check out very quick and easy ,booked by phone no problems excellent communication via WatsApp . Room large and comfortable good size bed air conditioning and fan . Great view of rock from the terrace means you can take pictures as the light changes without moving ,bathroom ok plenty of towels and products .
