The house owner Mr Biren Mahendran is very cooperative when booking the house. And the location is very peaceful, beautiful and secure. Well sufficient for a family or a group. Rooms are well cleaned and furniture are modern. Having a modern kitchen with all the necessary equipment. Really enjoyed the stay. The caretaker Mr Kerthi was very much helpful and he's fluent in Sinhala and English. Worth the money. Located in 550m away from Jaffna-KKS road and 9.5 Km away from Jaffna.

Harran and his team were very excellent and efficient. They are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had plenty of choices. Authentic Sri Lankan /Western Breakfast with exotic fruits/juice. They also provide good lunch /dinner at reasonable cost, if you would to have home cooked meal. It is located in very convenient place opposite to the famous Nallur temple. It was fascinating hearing the history of the residence.. Very much enjoyed the stay. We are coming here since 2017 as feel like home to home. We will come back again. A home stay that truly felt like a home stay. Allen suggested places to go and places to eat which were all good. The porch overlooking the garden is very relaxing. We would highly recommend staying here and visiting Jaffna for minimum 3 nights as there is a lot to see.

We had a most amazing stay at The Thinnai. The property is well maintained with lovely garden, the restaurant has fantastic dinner options, the breakfast buffet is plentiful, the suite is tastefully decorated, the personnel is very welcoming. Strongly recommended!
