Everything about this hotel was 5 star, the beautiful comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff and delicious breakfast. They were happy to cater for our vegan diet. We had evenings out for dinner and one in the hotel, we should have had all in the hotel as it was so good. The hotel is a twenty mi Ute walk to Galle Fort I will be recommending this lovely hotel to all my friends and family. O

Seems really the best location for staying in Hikkaduwa. Best beach 3min walk. DreamTime is total relaxation. No noise or light pollution only nature. Railway is near but not so close that it would affect sleeping.

Stunning, brand-new, incredibly friendly hotel. First of all, this property looks exactly like it is in the pictures: private, luxurious, comfortable, and beautiful. There are only 11 rooms including the superior room with a huge terrace. All rooms have balconies or terraces, so you can enjoy your time looking at the beach and ocean waves or busy and funny Hikka’s streets. In your room, you will have everything you might possibly need. You won’t want to leave that bed, it's so comfortable and was made for your best sleep. The pool is big and clean, you will have plenty of options for where to get your tan: on big beds, on covered or open chaise lounges, on the grass, or near the pool. The territory itself isn't that big, but it's well taken care of, clean and functional. You can get access to the 360• view terrace or enjoy some time in the gym. There is a bar and a kitchen for your comfort, you should definitely get some milkshakes and Caesar salad! We have walked near almost every hotel on Hikkaduwa’s beaches and even big, branded and famous ones aren’t even close to Dormero. As for breakfast, you can get a traditional one or choose one of many options, including omelets, bowls, sandwiches, waffles, and many more. No matter what you choose, it will be delicious. And it is very hard to even start talking about personnel. Everyone there has only one goal: to make your stay as good as possible. There are some securities, who constantly check on the property’s safety; barmen, who will make you the best cocktails; cleaners, who will clean up the room every day… And Franziska! What an angel! She will help you with ANYTHING, she will become the best hotel manager in your life, you won’t want to leave just because of her 🥹 We loved them all! (Also, there is a cute dog Kiki and monitor lizard that checks on you while you are getting sunbaths ☺️ ).

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The facilities, the staff, their professionalism throughout our visit, and their kindness were outstanding. They even invited us to join the birthday celebration of two employees, which was amazing. Everything was wonderful. We would definitely return without a doubt. The family is super friendly.They make me breakfast and dinner.they helped me with anything I needed.please do not hesitate to book this room .If you want to meet a Sri Lankan family that way is .I give 11 /10 . The breakfast and dinner was very delicious .The room very clean has A/C the internet very good too.The old Dutch Fort it's only a few mins walk .The turtle hatchery is as well very close . The location is fantastic and the staff were so kind and helpsome. Great food too. A pearl in Hikkaduwa and the biggest recommendation from us.

Pretty modern property which is great for a quite gateway. It has a good and considerably sized pool which makes the price tag a steal. Also the caretaker is very friendly as well as the breakfast is so good and has many varieties. Also there is parking facilities in the premises. Would recomend to anyone who likes a quite gayway out of the city.
