I loved everything about Halketha. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality from Chitra, Mary and Nelumi. We were taken to our villa across a beautiful landscaped garden that also stays true to its love for the natural environment. The villa itself was perfection - perfectly decorated, clean, homely but also provided you with a sense that you were in luxury. The outdoor bathroom was a cherry on top, with a beautiful araliya tree in the middle. During our stay, we were not only treated close to family, but the quality of service was nothing like I had seen in Sri Lanka for a long time. The food was authentically Sri Lankan, with a rich yet classic taste. The property is close to mini waterfalls and great walks. This is a stay I will keep coming back to. A reminder that authentic and wholesome experiences still exist in Sri Lanka.

Our stay was absolutely faultless and we had an amazing time at Ayana Sea, we did splash out and booked one of the Premier King Ocean View villas with a plunge pool and bath but it was completely worth it and exceeded our expectations! Absolutely everything was perfect for a nice relaxing end to our Sri Lankan trip. The town of Wadduwa was a short walk away which had ATM’s, shops etc and we strolled back via the beach and talked to very friendly locals along the way. The drive back to the airport took about 1 hour 20mins and was by far the best stretch of road we saw in Sri Lanka!! All of the staff couldn’t do enough for us and were all lovely people, we were very sad to leave!

So far the best accommodation we have had in Sri Lanka. Incredibly nice hosts, willing to help you with anything. They even did our laundry. No noise can be heard from outside, the bed is equipped with mosquito nets, which we greatly appreciated. In addition, it looks beautiful and the mattress is comfortable. The room is equipped with air conditioning. The equipment of the villa is new and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast was rich, we received several salty and sweet dishes, as well as fruit, tea and fruit juice. We would definitely like to come back again and warmly recommend this accommodation.

This was in a very quiet area. Kinda away from the busy roads and the rooms are very spacious than what we saw from the pictures very clean and there was a guy named Pradeep who was very helpful and very responsive. We didn’t experienced any issues during our stay.

We had a fantastic time at Sunny Villa. Sarah and Rosi gave us the impression that we were staying at a family home rather than a guesthouse as soon as we arrived. Both of them are incredibly kind, welcoming, and sincerely helpful they are always smiling and have excellent local advice. The beach, which has good waves for surfing and clear water for swimming, is only a short stroll away, making the location ideal. After long days in the sun, the clean, comfortable rooms and beds were just what we needed. Sunny Villa made us feel welcome in every way. You come here as a visitor and go away feeling like a member of the family. Our stay was better than we could have imagined. Highly recommend!
