We just love everything about Villa Salvatore. The design of the premises is as colourful as the host/owner himself: you immediately notice that so much creativity one has and at the same time it is very harmonic executed! The place is literally like an oasis in a bustling environment. It is also very well located- everything is effortless to reach by car or taxi. And the host is a personality. Great swimming pool area. Our 3 bedroom Riad was huge and comfortable. Service was fantastic and we really appreciated the advice from Carole and her husband. Great place to escape the frenzy of Essaouira. Best to have a car.

The riad dar Awil was the second at during my trip and it did set up expectations for the others. The service from the personal is excellent. They are polite, professional and made sure I have a quick check in and a comfortable stay. Rooms were super clean, the hotel seems to be new, the design was super cozy. Breakfast was great. Thank you to everyone at Riad Dar Awil for making my stay so memorable. I could gladly return and recommend this riad to anyone visiting Essaouira.

A perfect stay in the heart of Essaouira I can't recommend this riad highly enough. Tucked away in the medina yet peaceful and calm, it offered the perfect blend of comfort, charm, and authentic Moroccan hospitality. Every detail was thoughtfully designed — from the beautifully decorated rooms to the rooftop terrace with stunning views of the sea and city. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. We felt not like guests, but like part of a family. Breakfast each morning was a highlight: fresh fruit, warm msemen, homemade jams, and mint tea served with a smile. The location is ideal — a short walk to the beach, the port, the souks, and all the best restaurants and cafés. Yet once inside the riad, it feels like a tranquil oasis away from the bustle. We’ve stayed in many places across Morocco, but this riad truly stands out for its atmosphere, warmth, and attention to detail. We’ll definitely be back.

    Comfortable rooms with a very individual character; relaxing pool and balcony/terrace, good breakfast. Good parking place at the premises. Nice cooperative KAPCIM nearby (few minutes walk) for nice souvenirs and a nice restaurant. Note: no airconditioning as it is not necessary because the temperature is very nice during evening/night

    EVERYTHING! The place is beautiful! Really comfortable House and great staff. The pool is nice, you can park the car inside the gates, we got quite a lot of tea, the breakfast is amazing!!! The rooms are great and really comfortable. This is a great place to relax! We even got extra towels for the pool! Thank you very much Laetitia for this beautiful stay.
