Celebrated New Years at the camp and had a wonderful night. It was a cold night but enough blankets were provided to be very comfortable. The food, staff and entertainment were excellent as well.

A place that has remained in my heart and I can't wait to go back again. The setting makes you feel like you're in a fairy tale, and the staff makes you relax as much as possible to experience the moments. Ibrahim and Rahmun are incredible. Helpful and always help and take care of you like family.

I had planned to write this review for a long time. We spent 11 days in Morocco in February and this was one of the highlights. It was a wonderful place to stay. Fantastic tents with big comfortable beds, great staff and really delicious food which made a real effort to be different from what you get anywhere else. If you bring alcohol (bought in Carrefour in Quarzatate or Merzouga), they will gladly store it and serve it with dinner. Beautiful camp and the camel ride at sunset and the desert trip was really worth it.

Everything was perfect from start to finish.The transfer, the walk through the dunes, the delicious dinner and, of course, the sky full of stars. The tents are very clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Perfect for couples, friends or even solo travellers. A 10 out of 10 experience

I LOVED the property. Everything was just amazing. We had a room at the hotel with view on the desert with the bed facing it. It is just unreal. The hotel is nicely decorated and the rooms were very clean. Despite the sand storm the staff would keep the hotel clean every day. This hotel is truly a masterpiece and definitely worth the money. The breakfast was very very good with a lot of variety in a lovely decor. Everything is esthetically pleasing. We also had a great time thanks to Said. The man working at the front desk. He was making sure our stay would be pleasing. Thanks to him we truly felt accompanied. He was always there to help and plan the activities or to plan our breakfast. I thank him for his service when needed and comprehension. He’s a really good man and a lovely guy to chat with whenever we are at the hotel. He’s very respectful. He also helps out where needed to make sure we get the best experience. He is a devoted man and the only person to give a warm welcome upon arriving. There is also a nice little show in the evening at the camp performed by other staff members, but they act more like guests than staff members. See more in what I didn’t like about the property:

This was a fantastic camp to stay in. We had a wonderful time and the dinner was delicious! The dome had everything we needed and felt really spacious. What makes this place special is the staff and how welcoming they are. Only two small things, we booked the tent with the aircon which we couldn’t get to work (we didn’t need it in the end as it was April and got cold in the evening!) and the shower is cold! So just be prepared!

Everything except the food (see disclaimer). As long as you're not expecting Michelin star dining, i think you'd be extremely satisfied with everything else that Soleil has to offer. We were attended to by Ayoub and he was a great host. Responsive, helpful, informative, with a good command of English. He gave clear instructions for us to park our rental car at Hotel Cafe du Sud (free and safe parking), picked us and our luggage up in his 4x4, and dropped us at the start point of our camel ride (sunset camel ride to the campsite @ 15 euros/pax). Camel ride itself was quite an experience and i would recommend it if you've never been on one before (also the camels didn't smell bad since it was winter/cold). Towards the end of the camel ride the nomad camel guide will sit you down and peddle his wares to earn some additional income.. we just saw it as an appropriate opportunity to offer him some money as tips for his good service. No issues =) Soleil camp is a 2-month old (at point of writing this review, Feb 2023) campsite. It is considered a more 'private' campsite as it only houses 4 accommodation tents for guests, so i would recommend this if you're not a fan of big rowdy tourist crowds. However, as with most of the other desert camps, you're still within sight (and earshot) of neighbouring camps/companies, so you can forget about being 'alone in the desert'. Location of this campsite is a distance away from the big Erg Chebbi dunes.. so if your intention is to climb the dune.. you might want to choose an alternate site or arrange a quadbike ride. Because it's new, the interior of the accommodation tents are clean and in tiptop condition. Very spacious and more than enough for a traveling couple. No room heating or air conditioning (the place runs mainly on solar power with a gas generator as backup), but you do get hot water (heated by fire wood) and a steady supply of water.
