The host and his family are extremely proud of the auberge they have built. The made us feel like part of their family. The decor is very simple and authentic yet extremely comfortable, we such a comfortable room and a lovely night’s sleep. Dinner and breakfast was delicious and in large portions.

Fantastic setting High up above Todra Gorge, snow capped this trip, but have been to this place before with my children, who swam in the pool! Hosts were generous and friendly, just as I remembered from last visit. stayed up for my late arrival, had the fire going and brought me soup and tea, very thoughtful. Really friendly, hence came back.

Out of the nine hotels we have stayed at in our trip around Morocco, this one was easily our favorite. We felt incredibly welcome and confortable thanks to the amazing staff and owners. The place is very well kept and the facilities are great (swimming pool is really nice). We really enjoyed the food too.

The host is really friendly and wants the guests to feel welcomed. Our experience was simple and authentic, the food and drinks offered were excellent and tasty! It has a rooftop where you can overlook part of the village and it's life, really a nice and relaxing place! The rooms are basic but ok. You will stay in the middle of a marvellous landscape and are ready to start the next day right away with both directions being breathtaking...!

Best place we've been in all our 5 day trip in Morocco. By far. From the location, which even allows a short hike around the Riad, to the staff, helpful, professional and nice, to the food, facilities... The place is far better than in the pictures. Only negative is staying for no more than one night!

The food was delicious and the staff were sweet and very helpful. I am gluten intolerant, and this was the place I stayed in Morocco, where I felt the most safe eating. They had good knowledge about gluten, and always made sure my food was as good as everyone else’s.

Our host was so kind and friendly, and an amazing chef! He made us a delicious vegetarian tagine, Moroccan salad and fruit for dinner after we arrived from a long drive from Fes. His wife's bread is also wonderful, served fresh and hot! The hotel is in a great location, easy to find, safe, clean and quiet with a rustic charm. Breakfast this morning was generous coffee and hot milk, fresh crepes with an assortment of butter, honey, jams and cheese. We were ready to hit the road to Marrakech and would definitely return to Hotel Azul.

Very nice Host, with great service, food and stories. Location is in a local, friendly neighborhood with great view and rooftop terrace. No tourism around, but short drive to tinghir city and Todra.

Everything was perfect. This was our best stay in Morocco! The Riad is run as a family business and the hosts are just incredibly sweet and we felt very welcome. Abdel and his family took such great care of us and treated us like family. Breakfast was great and dinner (optional) was also delicious. Tea, peanuts and dates are served between meals. Also, Abdel picked us up and drove us from/to the bus stop in Tinerhir for free and organized sports climbing with a local guide. Further, we could use the laundry machine free of charge. We loved it and will be back anytime we travel this area of Morocco again.

Simply everything, from start till end. The location is perfect (just before the most popular part of the gorge and at start/end of the hiking loop). Room is spacious with a comfy bed and best water pressure of the area, if not Morocco. Breakfast is huge and varied. Staff is very attentive and try their best to make the stay as smooth as possible.
