We had the lovely corner Deluxe Room with windows on two sides of the hotel facing the streets with very little traffic. The windows make a nice cross breeze which we prefer to the excellently functioning A/C. The glass panel in the door to the corridor had an excellent blind for total privacy. Lots of device outlets. The bed was actually sumptuous and I'm picky about beds. We heard no street or party noise any time. Excellent staff, always quick to be of assistance whenever you go past the reception desk, and generously offer water. We felt as though we were visiting friends there and in the dining room. As an aside from a foodie: the hotel is located near several excellent restaurants including the remarkable Antiqua Trattoria which is always busy (hint: go early); make a reservation at Tostevere located across the street below your room window, and also find Heche de Mexico (if I spelled that correctly: it means "Made in Mexico"), it is very near with beautiful ambience and delicious food.

The place is amazing, a healing space, the breakfasts are the best, super healthy, no stomach inflammation, the smoothies and waters are incredible, and the 3 days I had breakfast there, it was splendid. Speaking of the place, I'll tell you how it went: I arrived at a corner marked by Google Maps, there are two entrances in the center (live aqua), or behind the area, and I arrived from behind, and well, what I mean is, it's easy to get there, once you arrive it looks very simple without pretending but once you enter and go to your room, the experience becomes indescribable, the design, the decoration, the plants, the trees and fruit trees too and they have an impressive natural pool that makes the place like a little paradise, but that's just the bottom part, on the rooftop there is a jacuzzi with a view of San Miguel, and a sauna that you can't miss! Not to mention that they also have a small garden, a small gym, enough to exercise, and a very large area to cook meat or any delicacy that you know how to prepare with the equipment there. Do you want a massage? This is the right place, the best 60 minutes of a massage were there and they have more services, facials, acupuncture, the place is ideal to relax and have a good time, I promise! Thanks Viktor, Mark and Fabiola! What a fabulous stay!

Eugenio, the owner of the property was just exceptional. I booked the cheapest room and he upgraded us without expecting anything in return. Then, when we had a rainy day, he offered an extra night for free just so we could enjoy the city properly! I’m not saying anyone should expect this kind of treatment, after all, a hotel is a business, but who’s had this kind of a experience before? Just shows what a kind man he is. Oh! And the day we left he even gave us a lift to the bus station!

The clean stylish interiors and trendy atmosphere attracted me. Casa Hoyos is quite all rounded. Staff there are THE BEST and a plus was getting to meet the owner’s dog:) We really liked the rooftop bar as well. Location was spot on. Central to all the places we needed to visit. Highly recommend-as I’d most likely return next time I visit SMA!
