The place itself is ok. It is not a big city, so I was specking small-non-fancy hotels. The food is excellent. Better than many fancy restaurants/resorts, and the included breakfast is quite big. The staff service was also good.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and pragmatic, the bathroom and shower nice. Very nice patio inside the hotel! Make sure to eat at Taqueria Beto´s in the closeby town of Villa Aldama. Doesn´t look like much, but those were some of the best Tacos we ate during our five-week stay in Mexico! We liked the location between the city of Perote and town of Villa Aldama, very quiet and lots of parking space.
