The Design of the Hotel was fabulous. The Attention to details, the furnishings were luxury end and room was good sized (we stayed in their Deluxe room). It was obvious that the Architect loves lightings. The lightings of the entire hotel was very well done, every corridor, every room, every space had different and nice lights. beautiful hotel and comfortable rooms. Breakfast and coffee was good too! We initially considered staying at Brosundet hotel but am very glad we decided on Hotel 1904.

Me and my parents stayed for a night at the large apartment on the top floor and I have nothing but good things to say of our short but lovely stay. The apartment is well located in the historic city center and 2 blocks away from a parking. Communication was easy and getting the keys too. The apartment itself is incredibly charming, with vintage furniture and beautiful wallpaper, the beds were also confortable. Everything was also very clean and organized.

Surprisingly spacious, well designed retreat above the garage. Tastefully decorated and thoughtfully furnished - makes us wonder what we need all our space for back home! Lovely and welcoming hosts with a great knowledge and ideas for exploring the area. A quick and enjoyable ferry ride away from Ålesund with free parking at the ferry terminal, so no need for city car parks. A wonderful stay - we will be back one day!!

The apartment was in perfect condition. Everything looked new. When we arrived, we saw that the owner had written us a letter indicating that we had food and drinks available in the fridge (it was full). There is a notebook with instructions on how to use the appliances. The owners were attentive to us at all times. They recommended places to visit near the apartment. The owner knows Spanish, so she made communication very easy for us. On the last day she offered us dinner and some meals to take with us on our trip the next day. Everything was prepared with love.

Very good value for money. Excellent alternative to the high city prices, while remaining within walking distance of the ferry, bus, center... Perfect for a few unpretentious nights. The views, cleanliness, beautiful terrace, beautiful tableware and very kind hosts that have put an extra effort to make their guests feel very welcome. Island is very close to Ålesund, with beautiful white sand beaches 3 min drive away where you can rent kite surfing equipment and other things. There are 2 showers, many bedrooms, a grill and bikes available for disposal 😊 We wish we could stay longer!
