Staying here really gives you a taste of what life is like in Bhaktapur. Navin is the best host I’ve ever had, he showed me round the city, took us to cafes and bars, and even took me to a family celebration. Joining him on a morning temple walk was an amazing experience. He puts a lot of energy into giving his guests the best experience and is very passionate about what he does. The room was also very comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better.

Without a doubt this was the best property we have stayed at in our 6 months of travelling. First of all the staff exceptional service exceeding our expectations, second the food - again the best food we have tasted ever and my husband is a chef, third the property itself the view, the room, the bed, the facilities swimming pool, spa, and the special yoga sessions in the most serene place you have ever encountered, amongst the trees, mountains, clouds. This is truly the most incredible experience we have done. Thank you from the bottom our hearts how we appreciated this experience. Anyone reading this don’t hesitate just book it.

Highlight were the staff. The owner Bishwo, will go above and beyond to tell you about everything there is to know within bhaktapur. Always wanting to improve and make the place better in every way. The hostel friends and staff are less friends here but more family. Is a place I will continue to come back to.

- The personal was very nice and even when I had dinner in the restaurant that belongs to the family, which has great views to the square, they gave me a discount. - I left my luggage there because I wanted to do trekking from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel and they kept it without any problem and didn't take any extra charge for it. But I have to aware you: as now tourists have to pay 2000 rupees to enter Bhaktapur, per day, they wanted to charge me again just to pick up my luggage. Fortunately, before I left I asked the tourist police about it and they told me it will be possible, but the people in charge of getting your money didn't agree with it when I arrived. Fortunately I came into Bhaktapur where the tourist police is, and they solved it by sending 2 police officers with me to pick up the luggage, and making sure that I would leave.

A Stunning Property in Bhaktapur! Hotel Yechu is truly one of the finest properties in Bhaktapur. While it is a little farther from Durbar Square, the breathtaking architecture makes it well worth the visit. It's a family home and probably the best accomodation I have had in Nepal since I arrived about a month ago. It's spotlessly clean and a very safe place to stay. I loved the family atmosphere and I enjoyed my interaction with them all very much. They made me feel very at home. I arranged to have full board (I'm not sure this is standard though) and the food was excellent. It's not far from Baktapur Durbar Square, half an hour walk. It's not too far from the centre of Kathmandhu (a taxi/bus ride) and by far a better place to stay than in the city.
