It was an incredible beyond any expectations experience !! My sons and I were welcomed like family into the community from the first day. We highly recommend this resort as a place to rest for a while, for those who truly wish to connect spiritually and experience what loving community in action means. Our every need was taken care of with kindness and respect and ease. This is a very special, unique place for nature lovers, artists, spiritual seekers and conscious eco friendly travellers. The food is grown in their organic vegetable gardens, the milk we drank was fresh from the cows and the people who run the resort are an extraordinary family. I cannot recommend this place more for those travellers who are seeking the real Nepal, the real spirituality and the real food. Thank you Joy resort, the name says it all !! We will be back every year if we can !!! An inspiration for us all !!

The hotel feels so clean and has an air of relaxation about it. The family showed great hospitality, made delicious food, and we were even lucky to be invited to a dinner party with their friends and family. It was delightful to meet their elder son Sagar, who was also extremely hospitable, was a very interesting partner for conversation, speaks great English, and answered many of our questions and explained many things about Nepal that nobody else was able to explain to us on this trip.

Peace Homestay is away from the busy center of Kathmandu. Definitely a big plus because the area is really quiet. The room was awesome! Bed was cozy and quite spacious. Also Wi-Fi connection was really good. Every evening, we joined for the home-cooked dinner. It was just so delicious! We liked it so much here that we decided to stay again here on our last days in Nepal.
