Exceptional property, in a great location, fantastic host and very clean comfortable accommodation with all good amenities. Suzanne, our host was superb and even provided a selection of refreshments and milk for our arrival. The property is very close to the beach and a superb restaurant which we would highly recommend. Had a wonderful stay, and would highly recommend. We will stay again, next time we visit the South Island.

The hospitality of the hosts - when we arrived late, their first “concern” was to arrange a meal for us at a nearby restaurant that was already closing. Just an example, the experience was very pleasant, the room perfect (I seriously can’t think of what to improve).

Perfect stay. Lovely hosts. it was nice talking and laughing with Jan and Ian. This BnB was the cleanest we've ever been to and had the best breakfast (fresh berries,fruit, ...eggs and bacon made to perfaction by chef Ian🙂). Havenlee Homestay is a heavenly homely stay and highly recommendable.

We had friends visiting from Vancouver and we were all blown away by this unique setup and location. Great communication from owner. Yurt would be beautiful for a romantic getaway. It has one very large at least king size bed the other bed for us was a pull out couch which was very comfortable. Have a great kitchenette, all facilities, just need to bring milk for tea and coffee which is provided. Fridge ,bbq etc. Nice modern shower and toilet. This is outside the yurt, but well lit with sensor solar lights. So 4 adults have a very comfortable stay. The view and location are just fabulous you can walk down the the beach in around 5mins (there are a few stairs to do this) and when you get there its just stunning. We walked to the local pub for dinner and they did a pretty decent basic dinner. We really enjoyed this stay would highly recommend and will be back. Thanks

    The property was in the perfect location for our trip. Sea views, close to parks and a short walk to the local cafe/restaurant. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. Being pet friendly we were also able to stay with our dog. The room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Off street parking was a bonus too. Having a fully enclosed grass area was also a bonus for us to be able to leave our dog at the property, if we couldn't take her with us.

    Nice quiet location with onsite parking. The Bach is situated at the side of the property and, as one might expect from the name, is furnished and decorated in beach cottage style. The bed and futon were both comfy. There is a compact kitchenette with microwave and electric frypan, so you can self-cater. However, there is a popular cafe/restaurant with a good selection of meals two minutes walk along the road.
