Vikki and Gerard were such wonderful hosts, always making sure I had everything I needed and offering great advice on walks and what to do in the area (there are heaps!) The rooms were spotlessly clean, and such a comfortable bed with an electric blanket at the end of a long day of tramping was bliss! With only 3 rooms it was very quiet (most guests were out exploring the area all day), and had such a cozy and homely feel that I had to book an extra night just to enjoy some quiet time with a book.

Located along the main road, just outside of what I would call the town centre, this motel provides a great place to stay and explore Arthur's Pass. The owner was very friendly and helpful, suggesting the various food places and walking trails in the area. Best of all, the unit is big with a bedroom, living room, kitchen area and toilet. I could certainly have spent many more days there.

The hostel was so clean! The beds were fresh and cozy. The upstairs lounge area has a tea & coffee station - with milk which was a lovely touch. It's right in the centre of the village too. Would definitely stay again (:

Everything! We were in the apartment so had a good amount of privacy (you would have the use the shared kitchen if you wanted to cook anything but we had a microwave in the apartment) Really comfortable and clean. Beautiful views

The view is as amazing as it appears in the advert, and the bed was super comfortable. Helen is an amazing hostess, she made us feel so welcome in her special home, cooked a delicious breakfast (bread straight from the oven!) and shared lots of great advice for our trip.
