An absolut Diamond and steal for the money. What you get is amazing - we had a full cabin with a bbq and a own garden and it’s all meters away from the shore - we did have a fun swim early morning and of course it’s quite wavy and cold - but they have a solution: a spa! Honestly one of the best places I ever stayed. Highly recommend!

We so loved the peaceful surroundings and the quiet. It has a lovely relaxed and homely feel. We stayed for two nights but could easily have found plenty to explore with a few more days.

Cindy and Gavin were wonderful hosts. We were spoilt with homemade treats. Cindy was very helpful and made us feel so comfortable. Nothing was to much trouble. The cottage was roomy and had everything we needed for a great stay. We even saw our first Weka there. The location was very central for all our travelling around. The whole experience was that good that we extended our booking. There are even activities at the Scenic Waterways Retreat which is a big bonus. Thank you Gavin and Cindy for such a wonderful stay and making us feel welcomed.

EXCELLENT. Lovely, find everything you need, everything for cooking facilities, even a dishwasher with powder , and an extractor hood ; very good location, very quiet , no noise, even if not far from city center which is walkable. Warm welcoming. Very confortable, Extremely clean, very good bed, large room lot of space. Nice bathroom with good quality and nice shower.
