"My sister and I have been in Oman for 2 days in October and we slept in dune camp for 1 night... Since we had so few time we asked Said to help us organizing our trip around in Oman... It was the greatest host ever!! Everything was perfect and organized in details, we have been there for 2 days but it seems like we have stayed there for 1 week for how many things we had the opportunity to do! The camp in the desert was such a beautiful experience, observing the sunrise and sunset on the dunes, eating typical dinner watching the desert's stars and sleeping in tent...Said always cared we were having the best of our time! We are bringing back home lovely memories of a lot of laughs and lot of beautiful places seen! A special thank also to our super driver Zayed, who drove us in several places and always cared as well everything was fine! You guys were the best, thank you for making our trip so special!"

Everything was perfect, the hospitality, location, facilities. The owner will install WiFi to make it even better. The breakfast served by the owner himself was also marvelous. Will definitely come back when in Oman.

Nice small scale camp in the desert, only 6 tents. Very nice staff providing good service and friendly host. It is very magical to walk up the dunes and look at the sunset or sunrise. We enjoyed it very much, thank you! It might be good to know that pick up can be arranged for an extra charge from a meetingpoint (we were glad we did this as there are no signs to the camp). Also the dinner is not included in the price, however the food was very nice, so recommended!

The Alsarmadi Desert Camp is an amazing experience. Our hosts picked us up in the nearby township of Bidiya, and it was only a short 30min drive out to the camp. You are surrounded by sand dunes, but high up enough to enjoy a beautiful sunset/sunrise. The hosts are very welcoming and can organise several activities during your stay in the desert. Some incur extra costs, like camel rides & lunch at a Bedouin camp. Or you can simply enjoy exploring the dunes, like we did. The tents are clean & comfortable, it was the best sleep of our whole trip! And as female travellers we felt safe the whole time. Breakfast & dinner were also delicious. Thank you to Said & his son Alfarooq for a wonderful experience in the desert!

We had an unforgettable experience here, like in a fairy tale from the Arabian Nights amidst the breathtaking desert dunes, we experienced genuine, warm hospitality. We checked into a villa that we were told was ours and were looked after by Tushar, who was invisible, very respectful of privacy and yet always there when we needed him. He explained that the owner of the house, Mohammed, had told him that it wasn't about money, the only important thing was that the guests were happy and that they were treated like family. The landlord, Mohammed himself, took us into the desert and treated us to a big dinner in the middle of the dunes, and when a sandstorm came up, Mohammed even conjured up an innovative shelter for us out of flying carpets. On the day of our departure, we were surprised by Mohammed and his children who visited us with presents, we experienced the great hospitality of Oman first hand and felt at home, and now, back home, we miss it very much.

Most authentic camp, most authentic experience and nicest people on earth. They do everything, always making sure you are okay. They Even saved us by dropping us in Muscat because we had no car. The night was great, the tents are very comfortable and its away from the cluster where you have all the other camps so you really feel alone in the desert . Thank you so much

perfect stay, away from all the noises, sunrise and sunset views. decoration is spectacular, AC and water heater available best part. more than 2 seating areas available outside with grilling place. coffee station available and delicious breakfast, will return again definitely.
