When traveling in Oman, it is necessary to visit the desert and stay for at least one night. It's hard to imagine a more authentic place than this campsite. Stunning images for a European :) impossible to describe! But separately, we want to write about Ali and Miriam hospitality, from meeting to saying goodbye, you feel cared for and welcome. You will be greeted in a town not far from the desert, escorted, offered entertainment, arranged dinner and lit a bonfire, and in the morning from sunrise they will be ready again!!! Thank you dear ones!!

Everything was amazing, just remove your shoes and enjoy walking in the sand. Perfect place for watching sunset from sand dunes nearby. Bathroom is outside the tent, water was almost boiling during the day time, but after sunset got colder which make sense since u are in the desert. Love the common area with oriental carpet and pillows. Food was really nice. Staff was all the time smiling and helpful. Camp offer transfer and a lot of activities.

The owner is super nice.Fell like I am his family member. They provide all kind of activities such as camel riding and dune pushing. They offer transportation from the meeting point to the camp for 20 Omani Rials (round trip). Enjoy dune pushing and sunset viewing for 25 Omani Rials, and dinner for 8 Omani Rials per person. You can see many stars at night.

I had an amazing stay at Shooting Star Camp in Wahiba Sands. The tents were beautiful and the beds very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious, and the private setup for 4 people made it feel so special. The night sky full of stars was breathtaking, and I also enjoyed the camel ride. A truly wonderful desert experience — highly recommended!

When the heavy rain and storm was coming the owner moved all people from the camp to modern apartenent to stay safe and dry. Camp has good atmosphere and you have some activities to try for extra money - especially dune bassin is cool

    The camp and the communication (email and whatsapp) was excellent. I would recommend driving to Bidiya and parking a rental car and getting the escort service to the camp. The Ameer tent is amazing and comfortable, the staff promptly took care of an insect situation which arose and allowed us use of another room if required which was a great gesture. The food is exceptional especially the buffet dinner which is a very high standard. Stargazing in the night was also a welcomed surprise.
