The staff here really make the experience!! I was recommended to stay here and it did not disappoint. It’s so close to all the best waterfalls, has a nearby town and not far from the beach too. It was an awesome stay - the family is very kind and helped us our with everything we needed (f.e. renting scooter for a very good price). The food was the best we had in the Philippines so far - freshly cooked and very tasty. The location is also amazing - it's a beautiful small village in the middle of the island souround by rice fields and very close to everything, f.e. the chocolate hills. We will definitely come again when we are back on Bohol!

It was a wonderful stay. The place is new to booking and it’s just perfect. We were welcomed with kindness by Odelia and her family, always ready to help and to do anything so you feel like home. The room was clean and had useful details (hangovers, a place to leave the clothes, etc) which make the difference, specially when you are travelling for a while. Odelia offered us morning coffee and ‘guaba’ so it was a nice wake up. The surroundings are simply beautiful. It’s a 10 for us, we are definitely recommended it. Let’s help this familiar hostel grow!!

The location is off the beaten path providing a rural vibe. Angel and his family are the most warm and kind hearted people we have had the pleasure of staying with during our time in the Philippines. While staying here you are considered family and we don’t say this lightly! The location is close by some villages, waterfalls and a short motorbike ride away from the beach. The main tourist attractions (tarsier sanctuary, chocolate hills) are a bit further away, but we loved driving around on the motorbike around the island, which you can rent from them for a very reasonable price. Angel also provided lots of tips and recommendations regarding where to eat and itineraries for exploring the island. You stay on a little farm with cute piglets, cats and a dog. Behind the cottage is a hill overlooking the island providing a beautiful view of the sunrise. Overall we can not recommend this stay enough, we had an amazing time at Bohol largely thanks to Angel and his family.
