I needed a place to stay for one night and it was absolutely perfect for this purpose. Nice staff, clean, good value for the price. Of course it's not quiet next to the main street but it didn't bother me. However, I also have a deep sleep. The host provides earplugs though. I had a room on the 1st floor.

Nindot kaayo sa ani! that was my first time in Danao, but I had good time thanks to this staff. staff was really helpful and very friendly!!!! they have very nice pool in this resort and when we have dinner, their family came to me, and talk with me! Everything you need, in a nicely fitted out apartment. Friendly and helpful. Really quite comfortable, in a local neighborhood. Also worth mentioning a great cafe down the road (Bambusa) and a nice little bakery in the other direction at the intersection on the way to the highway. You can walk into Liloan to the supermarket etc if you like - takes 20 min to half an hour depending on how fast you walk. Some may find the location a bit remote, but I really enjoyed my time.

I had a great time at Era's Homestay. Era and oliver were excellent hosts. Olivier is very entertaining with his many stories of traveling and sailing around the world. The homestay and surounding areas are stunningly beautiful and will give you that genuine province feel. Opening the hut's door and being welcomed by luscious green nature in the morning is a great experience. Would definetly stay here again.
