The crew is amazing. You can see they are genuinely friendly. It seems they really like their jobs and interacting with people from other countries. The hotel is much more beautiful than seems on the pictures. The garden is beautiful and in the room and veranda you feel the tropical forest very close.

This was a great place to start our holiday in Sao Tome. We wanted somewhere close to the airport and outside the city. Casa Luis delivered and also has a beautiful quiet garden to chill out, a pool to cool down in and clean rooms with air conditioning which makes it easier to get used to the heat in the night. The owner was really helpful, he arranged for someone to come and exchange our euros to the local dobras - and he even took care of our extra stuff when we went for a trip to Principe (only 16 kgs luggage allowed on the plane). He offered to have someone escort us to the restaurant the first day, but after understanding that the area was safe we politely declined and found our way using google maps. Thank you and we would visit again.

Gorgeous location offering a stunning view over Praias dos Tamarindos (5-10 min walking distance). Zen atmosphere with the sound of waves, crickets at night and birds during the day. The owner Adi and his staff welcomed and treated us as we were in a 5* establishment. They were very accommodating day and night. There are 2 identical bungalows with a huge terrace. They are set in the middle of the plantation. The bed is comfortable and the fan works powerfully. Hot water with good pressure went the pump is on. The food is exceptional at a very good price. We had a gastronomical tasting for our first night. Ingredients are mainly from their plantation and according to the catch of the day for the seafood. Their fresh Cajamanga juice is addictive. We initially planned to stay 1 night but ended up staying 4 nights. We really enjoyed our experience, the kindness and the smile of this place.

Very friendly receptionist. Fantastic location if you need to get to the airport. Large and clean room and a bathroom. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Residencial Tamarindos, a charming hotel located on the beautiful island of São Tomé and Príncipe. While the hotel may not be the largest in the area, it certainly makes up for its size with its warm and inviting atmosphere. One of the standout features of Residencial Tamarindos is its affordability. Considering the nice location and the amenities provided, the prices are quite reasonable for the islands. The dining options at the hotel are realy exceptional. Each meal I enjoyed was a celebration of local flavors, expertly prepared and presented. What truly sets Residencial Tamarindos apart, however, is the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly and eager to assist, making me feel right at home. Their genuine hospitality added a personal touch to my stay, and they were always available to provide recommendations or help with any questions 😊
