The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Herman was responsive and helpful throughout our stay and also the price was very reasonable considering the quality of the apartment and its location. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Uganda.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel 256, The location was perfect! easy access to town and to the airport. It is located within a gated community, providing security and peace of mind. Our room had a lovely view of the lake, which was nice to wake up to. We enjoyed a well prepared breakfast and a delicious dinner of Ugandan local cuisine. Our rooms were very comfortable, well decorated, and had all the room amenities required. Toni and Esther, the hotel staff, were very attentive and always on hand to offer any assistance or information. Every area of the hotel has been well designed and is extremely inviting.

The fact that I was able to fix my own preferred meals was simply amazing. The place was so homely. The kids had enough play space and comfort. The coolness from the serenity of the trees was simply it. And the birds ooh my goodness. We actually extended our stay and plan to go back soon.
