United StatesLocation was great. Could walk from the ferry coming to Ocracoke from Swan Quarter if desired. Facilities were older but I loved the ambience. The facilities matched the hotels name. The staff was great.

We got there by ferry from Cedar Island and it was only a short ride to the hotel. If possible take the afternoon ferry from Cedar Island. The Sunset is outstanding. Parking was easy although the hotel was fully booked. The only thing we have to complain is the breakfast. It´s a normal US hotel breakfast with a lot of plastic.
