This place i a magic. From the moment we arrived, Matt at the reception just ‘embraced’ us with his care. Check in took 2 minutes. Our room was ready. Hotel has offered everything you need: bottled water, snacks , parking, beach chairs and umbrella. And most important -hospitality. Staff makes a place. Breakfast ( included) just perfect. We even got a big towel as A GIFT. We wanted to buy but Linda had offered us a perfect towel as as gift. Thank you very much. We used it

The blue vacation house is in an ideal location half way between downtown Venice and Manasota beach and Siesta beach. The house is clean quirky and has great facilities with lovely outside space. Ewa was extremely helpful and no query was a problem. For us it was the ideal relaxing location for a few days by the beach. Shops very close by.

Perfect location right at the beach, with sand and waves and swimming facilities. Nice porch to relax and very friendly staff. Breakfast at breakfast cottage (15 min drive) and Pelican Alley for fresh fish platters and more just around the corner. Wildlife encounters with gopher turtle in the backyard, nest of ospreys on the bridge nearby and many seabirds flying by. Perfect way to detox after a long flight and start the holiday!

What a great place! We really didn’t want to leave, this place is fantastic and we will definitely be back. We were fortunate enough to arrive on Saturday to see the drummers on the beach who have been bashing out their rhythms since they were teenagers in the 60s. I cannot recommend The Beach Retreat highly enough….just go!! P.s. The staff are spot on too

    Nothing roaches dirt. Bums in the parking lot, door was kicked in didn’t even lock. WE LEFT AND NEVER STAYED THE NIGHT. Safety of my children were at stake.

    Good location for the clean sandy beach, 3 minute drive to town centre, free parking in town centre car parks (at night, not sure about daytime). Plenty of decent eateries in and around town. Some amazing Artisan shops on main street. Breakfast was basic but ok as a light snack. Coffee was better in the room than at breakfast. The key card lock had failed on our first room sothe manager kindly upgraded us to a delux double facing the beach, which I was very impressed by the way he treated us.

    Newly renovated. Attractive, quality renovations. Huge walk in pool. All floors are vinyl wood look. Rooms are very clean. Great beds and linens. Air conditioning worked well. No smells in room. Difficult to find property initially because of lack of signs but once you find it it is easy access to both directions of the highway. Burger King in parking lot. Close to Venice, Nokomis and beaches. Staff was all very courteous.
