Definitely a highlight during our stay in Vietnam! We loved being remote and in such a calm place surrounded by a beautiful landscape. We did some hiking and smaller walks in the area. The staff was very helpful and the owner did everything to support us from arrival to departure. Fresh meals were cooked for us whenever we needed them. Make sure to bring enough cash:) Since the place is very remote, we got support to come to the place, we took a sleeper bus from Hanoi, then a local bus, taxi and the last part we had to walk. It was a little adventure and we liked it. Everything was perfectly organized by the owner and the communication was very good and helpful. There is a small village nearby where we could buy some snacks and water but drinks can also be purchased in the home.

Bikki’s home is for travellers who know how to appreciate village and community life - shared (and delicious) meals, shared spaces, basic (but very comfortable) amenities, meaningful conversations. If curious, you’ll get a chance to learn a lot about the tea culture and Red Dzao culture. I highly recommend this place to kind , curious and open-hearted people.

Unique setting on the edge of an authentic village overlooking beautiful mountains. The village is still authentic, not overrun by large groups of partying foreign kids on motorcycles. The host family was very welcoming and we were made to feel part of the family. The rooms were small but comfortable and with a nice design. The bathroom is basic but functional. The overall experience is wonderful, being part of village life waking up to the sounds of the animals in the village waking up early in the morning

The location is unbelievable, the most beautiful place i have ever slept at. Amazing views. Very nice owners, made me dinner and a light breakfast. The stay is really authentic, all the animals roaming freely at the nearby field... just a wonderful place!!

The friendly staff, delicious meals, and relaxing massage services made my stay even more rejuvenating.

I stayed at this homestay for 13 days and absolutely loved it — both for the incredibly beautiful location and for the chance to get to know the family. The hosts are wonderfully attentive and welcoming. Here, you can enjoy complete quiet or ask about anything that interests you — they’ll treat you with genuine care. The internet is excellent, there’s always hot water, and the bed is comfortable (though the pillows might feel a bit high for some). There are plenty of places to work on a laptop. There’s so much to explore around — you can wander the village for days. You’ll definitely find spots you fall in love with. I sincerely recommend staying here for a while instead of just passing through.

Beautiful room with terrace overlooking the valley, big clean comfy beds and a lovely bathroom. No a/c but two good fans, no issues with being too hot overnight and slept really well. The meals were all excellent, the staff catered really well for us as vegetarians and made us two lovely evening meals and breakfasts. We have been travelling by motorbike and decided to rest for two nights at Hoang Su Phi so had a lovely relaxing day just walking around the village, having a swim in the pool and chilling out in the bungalow - perfect location for this!

A fantastic and memorable 3 nights, with an amazing team running the property who were so helpful. A big thank you to them! The location is superb- it’s remote; 10-12 kms from the main road, but the drive up the mountain pass is amazing. The rooms have speculator views across the valley. The food was great, especially the hot pot, which we had a couple of times. There are good places to walk/trek from the resort, and the locals are so hospitable. Hoang Su Phi is an hours drive, which has an amazingly colourful market on Sundays. The western side of Ha Giang is far quieter, more remote and less touristy than the eastern side, but this is likely to change once the roads are repaired.
