We overnighted in Swellendam and were delighted to be able to stay in the oldest house in the town. A beautiful room with wide yellowwood floors and ceiling. Not often you get to stay in a place that is 200 plus years in South Africa. Lizette gave us a tour of this special house and provided rusks and a flask of hot water for coffee during load shedding, and some anti mosquito spray. Small touches that made us feel very welcome.

Wonderful stay, awesome staff, so friendly and helpful. Lovely being in a garden nursery, we had a stroll around after dinner all the fairy lights were on. Excellent breakfast and dinner and our room was just perfect.

The Old Potters Inn is brilliantly located for exploring Greyton. We had a very warm welcome & the accommodation was very comfortable & tasteful, in keeping with the building. The garden is delightful & it was wonderful to relax by the pool after exploring the town. Greyton is a safe & friendly town set in a nature reserve with horses roaming free. It has an old world charm, quite arty with delightful cafes & restaurants. Lismore tasting rooms are a “must-do” as this vineyard produces the most delicious wines. Our hosts couldn’t have been more kind or accommodating & it was the perfect location to relax & recuperate after a long flight into Cape Town. Would recommend a trip here & we’d love to return.

This bnb surpasses expectations! It's our second time there and we will return any time possible. It's like a mini retreat center, with the most increadible garden, cared for by the most lovely host Ritta! The rooms are spotless, spaciois, beautifully arranged and comfortable. The bathrooms are also very beautiful, clean and spacious. We had everything we needed. Ritta was very polite and caring! She resides on the other side of the house and provided us ampty of space, being extra quite for us to enjoy yet being fully responsive when we needed anything. Thank you, Ritta! Looking forward to staying with you again!

    A quaint cottage close to restaurants and shops. A lovely garden with garden furniture. Secure parking Ups that keeps the wifi on during load-shedding with lot of battery operated lights that were strategically placed in kitchens and bathrooms. Easy check-in instructions were provided in writing by Kyle and he was quick to respond to any queries.

    Location: backing on to nature reserve for lovely walks. Quiet road. Great that enclosed parking meant we could leave luggage in the car. Short, attractive walk into Greyton. Nice interior and terraces. Sand-coloured towels much better than snowy white ones which need bleaching!

    The location is great and we had a very comfortable stay! The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful, and we had a lovely time. Off-street parking was available. We also had a wonderful beer tasting and lunch at the Potter's Inn brewery/restaurant.
