Beautiful accomodation, amazing garden, very quiet and safe. We really enjoyed company of our hosts who shared with us many interesting things about life in South Africa. They also helped us with everything. We could even get litchi from their lichi tree :) We felt very welcomed and had a good time.

As you can already see from the pictures, the place is simply stunning .. What we can add to that is that the attention to detail is on point, food is exquisite and service is world class. Dirk, as front of house, the chef and the staff all massively exceed expectations, leading us to very much agree with some of the reviews we read before visiting - namely that having visited many many places around the world, this one ranks at the very top!!

everything is amazing. The staff and owners do everything to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. We felt like we were treated like princesses. The view is stunning, the pool and terraces amazing and the room spacious. Everything was clean and we werent missing anything. It was a perfect stay. The road leading to the lodge looks currently not so beautiful as the trees there were cut down but soon there will be new trees planted so that is just a temporary thing. It doesnt affect the stay or view.

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending the last 2 nights of our honeymoon at Summerfields Retreat and Spa, and it was an absolutely magical experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the staff, especially Mariana, who went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. Her attention to detail and genuine care made us feel truly welcomed and pampered throughout our time at the resort. The amenities at Summerfields Retreat and Spa are top-notch. Our room was beautifully appointed, with luxurious furnishings and breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. We enjoyed relaxing in the spa, indulging in decadent treatments that left us feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible food. Each meal was a culinary delight, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients prepared to perfection. We looked forward to dining at the restaurant every day, eager to sample the delicious creations of the talented chefs. But perhaps what stole our hearts the most was the adorable in-house cat Whiskas who became our unexpected companion during our stay. We formed a special bond with him and were sad to leave without saying goodbye, assuming he was busy with his cat activities. We hope he is doing well and look forward to visiting again someday, perhaps to see him grown into a regal feline. Overall, our experience at Summerfields Retreat and Spa was nothing short of magical. It's a place where every detail is thoughtfully curated to ensure the utmost comfort and enjoyment of guests. We left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and with memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. We cannot wait to return to this little slice of paradise. Beautiful property, very green and well maintained. The room is very nice, clean and has a private porch with a beautiful view of the garden. We couldn’t have breakfast as we left very early, but the hostess Isabel was so nice to prepare a breakfast package for us. Secure parking at the property.
