We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is spacious and clean. We had a bed for everybody (4 double beds in 3 bedrooms). There were 2 tvs both having DSTV and Netflix so that the kids can watch different shows to us. No load shedding! The place is set up so the TV's and lights continue to work despite load shedding. There is even a power bank so that you can charge your devices. Gas cooktop so that you can still cook as well. Plenty of cookware, crockery and cutlery available. We really enjoyed our stay, it was a lovely break away from home.

The staff and owners are extremely friendly and really make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need for your stay. Everything was clean, also got cleaned while we were out for the day. The facilities are great with secure parking, a nice terrace for each room, hot water etc.

The place is so clean, the staff is very accomodative and respectful, they had extra blankets on the cupboard since its winter season, the bed was super comfortable and the shower had hot water.

Everything about this place was exceptional. I had a toddler with me, they took care of my baby like no one else has ever done. And the breakfast was inclusive for my baby and me. It was on a cold day, they put up a heater just for her. I am happy with their service.

The lodge is very beautiful and clean. We had free parking for our car. The caretaker is very friendly and drove with us to go buy food and a couple of drinks since we don't know the area. The service was amazing.

    Located in the most stunning surroundings. Food was good and staff was very friendly. Would highly recommend staying here! We used the transfer service to get to the Sentinel car park and enjoyed the amazing Sentinel peak hike.

    The location is idyllic! The lodge is nestled in the northern Drakensberg mountains with numerous hikes beginning directly from the lodge. They also offer daily shuttle service up to the Sentinel Peak car park where you can hike to the top of Tugela falls- this is a must-do day trip for hikers. The facilities are very comfortable and the staff outstanding.

    The location is unique and spectacular (when it is not cloudy!), with a view of the Amphitheatre, and they will drive you to the Sentinel car park for the spectacular Chainladders hike to the top of Tugela Falls. This the reason for booking here, and for this it gets 10/10. The dining room and bar have a nice atmosphere when full of fellow nature lovers.

    The perfect location to hike the Tugela Falls ( chain ladder hike ) . Plenty of other nice hikes start right in frot of the Lodge. They can organise a transfer to/from the sentinel car park. This is great given the road is inaccessible for regular cars. The restaurant has a nice good menu. Lunch boxes can be ordered quite handy given the nearest shop is quite a distance away.
