The environment is serene, charming, and very family-friendly—perfect for our family of four. We especially loved the outdoor kitchen and dining area, where we had the pleasure of connecting with other guests over meals and conversations. The lush garden adds a peaceful, tropical vibe that made every moment feel like a retreat. The rooms and premises were spotless and very well maintained, and our kids had an absolute blast enjoying the pool. One of the sweetest surprises was meeting Bella, Mariel and Dirk’s lovely dog—so gentle, calm, and friendly with all the guests. She truly added an extra layer of comfort and joy to our stay. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—right in Oranjestad, with most major attractions just a short drive away. The airport is also conveniently close (about 6–8 minutes), which made our arrival and departure super easy. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and can’t recommend Aloe B&B enough—especially for families or anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming, and centrally located spot in Aruba. The villa is also very private with parking its own pool and access to the water. Overall, this place is amazing. The bedrooms are all Ac the self-contained bedroom has a back patio with amazing views to the sea and the sunset.

Lots of lovely common space as well, including the outdoors. Shane and her partner are creating a beautiful bajan inspired escape in a gorgeous family villa. This is supported by the most adorable, playful mastiff puppy, Jax (sp?), who is just a dream dog! Chase him till your heart gives out, or let him slobber kiss you into giggles! The location is amazingly close to Oistins and Miami Beach (for swimming). Please be aware this is on top of Oistins hill, and the steps can be steep. But we only did them once or twice a day, so it was a great workout! Pay the extra AC fee! Totally worth it :) Use the Pickup app, and the cabs will find you in minutes. The hosts interact as much as you'd like - but be sure to connect with for booking any services. We hope to keep returning to see Shane continue her wonderful journey!

Honestly, I love everything about this lodge. My friend and I had the best time. The room and facilities were a 10/10 and the couple on-sight made sure that we had the most pleasant stay with lots of recommendations. I can only recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in many ways. The accommodation is well equipped and in good shape. The quality of furniture and decoration is great. The ambient lights are a highlight and the view from the balcony too. The small kitchen is well equipped. We did not miss anything. The owner is very helpful. We had some questions and he always helped us out. The pool was out of service during our stay but we got informed on time and received some cash back for the inconvenience. Now the pool is renovated for you. We highly recommend you a rental car if you want to visit places outside the village. The public busses are extreme unreliable. Locals confirmed us that you never can count on the busses. If you do not have a rental car you have to accept to walk up a short but straight hill to the accommodation. Everything in the village is in walkable distance.
