Excellent location, well positioned in a quiet area and within easy walking access to the main centre. Efficient and friendly staff, especially the hostess, who helped me so much and went above and beyond to make my stay there extremely smooth. She helped me organize so many things and was truly a blessing. I appreciated being able to leave my Hire vehicle parked securely there whilst I went for a short trip to Zimbabwe. Also assisted me to organize the shuttle transport to and from Zimbabwe as well - really extremely helpful. Clean and spacious room, and an excellent breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay there. Highly recommended.

Chimney made our stay absolutely unforgettable. Travel is not only about nature, but also about people, and it’s the people who connect us to the local culture. Chimney not only shared insights about life in Botswana, but also organized the best game drive we’ve ever experienced: a 12-hour journey through Chobe with a breakfast and lunch break, all arranged by him. We had the time not just to see the animals, but to truly observe their lives in peace. Honestly, this experience even surpassed our impressions of Victoria Falls the day before. While the facilities may seem modest to some, the dedication and heart Chimney puts into his hosting are the real highlights—and they added incredible value to our journey.

We had a wonderful time for our 2 nights in Tent no 1 at Muchenje. From the moment I start to communicate with Hayden... He was so very helpful! Our check in and the staff were very friendly.. The little convenient store was very well stocked !!! More than I expected with good meat and Chicken and fresh Veggies!! And a lot more! The Birdwalk with Stone is not to be missed... He is a wonderful guide.. we saw 50 spesies an 6 lifers!!! Amazing .... The foodplanes were flooded , so we had amazing views and beautiful Sunsets. Thank You Muchenje Campsite.... Located in Kasane and with Sedudu Gate Chobe National Park reachable within 6 km, Jackalberry Chobe provides express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. Everything was just awesome. The staff is incredibly nice, Spha (the chef) is an amazing cook! My wife is a celiac, she can`t eat gluten, and they manage to prepare her even gluten-free bread, cake and pasta!! The game/boat drives we had were the best ones we`ve had, by far. Kabo, our guide, managed to find every animal we wanted to see (even leopard and hyenas) and somehow was able to answer every question we threw at them. The tents are amazing: you would think that given that it`s tents you`d find a lot of bugs, but we didn`t see a single bug inside our tent during our 3-days in the hotel. The balcony view from our room was just overlooking the river, and we manage to see buffalos, impalas and hippos just passing by. We were even woken up one day by monkeys knocking on the roof and the walls! As a bonus, the internet connection works well, even from the rooms and the borderless pool overlooking the river is also great. We had 3 amazing days at Jackalberry!!

Overlooking the Lesoma Valley in the Chobe District, Elephant Valley Lodge offers accommodation in Kasane. This lodge boasts an infinity pool and a deck that overlooks a waterhole. Lovely and helpful host with very well trained staff who were always helpful. Lovely location overlooking its own waterholes and a steady movement of game animals in/out which made for remarkable sights. Excellent game drives with very knowledgeable drivers. All round a great experience!
