Located five minutes away from Tayrona Park main entrance. Senda Koguiwa provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and an outdoor swimming pool. Everything was great, the staff super friendly, the room was awesome, the surroundings amazing

Everything! The most relaxing, luxurious getaway. The staff is incredible especially at the main restaurant near lobby! They went above and beyond for us when we wanted sushi and prepare it specially. The room was impeccable and the pool very relaxing.

Offering a terrace and views of the garden, Masaya Casas Viejas is set 30 minutes away from Minca in the Magdalena Region by 4x4 or motorcycle, and 12 mi from Santa Marta. The location was amazing, heated pool with perfect view of the sunset. The food was great and the staff were really nice. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The facilities are superb. I booked one night and decided to stay another for the party because I met such nice people here. Magda was so helpful with booking my second night and making sure I have the discount for my second night when rebooking. The food was delicious and I loved the breakfast. Slack lining a small gym and so much dancing has made this a very active stay. Rafikee was also so helpful at the desk. I'd definitely come back. Also the sunset is so beautiful over the sierra Nevada mountain range, it's not to be missed. I done the sunrise one day too which was also beautiful from the beach.

El Santuario was the perfect home base for exploring Minca! Nora and José Luis have obviously put a lot of love into their hotel- they were exceptionally kind and provided us with everything we needed during our stay. We split three rooms between 5 friends, which was totally comfortable for us. We started every morning taking in the stunning views while enjoying a delicious home cooked breakfast- the birdwatching is unparalleled to any place I’ve visited before! It’s a quick 10 minute drive to the center of Minca- we had a car, but the hotel will happily arrange a mototaxi for you, which I took advantage of as i chose to stay an extra night after my travel mates departed. We ended our evenings using the ample common areas to sip tequila and reflect on our adventures. The evenings were cool enough that we wouldn’t have used a/c even if it was available. Of course there are some bugs, but what else would you expect staying in a rustic town in the middle of the jungle?? Other reviewers noting this as a con are obviously unused to accommodations that strive to be as ecologically mindful as possible to their natural environments.
