Hosts are wonderful and helpful, secure parking right outside your door and the chalets look brand new and are very comfortable. A convenient stroll to everything in this beautiful town. Breakfast was delicious.

A great place to decompress from more 'tick list' tourist places. It's very possible that the only non Ecuadorians you'll meet in Alausí will be staying with you here. Alausí is also a good base for walking including to Nariz del Diablo (around 13km return trip) where we met traditionally dressed locals working the fields and saw an 'Andean Wolf' (Culpeo).

What an amazing experience! We loved every minute of our stay at Chimborazo. The lodge is unbelievable - it’s been build with so much thought and care. You could lose yourself in the amazing climbing memorabilia for weeks. It’s just stunning. And we loved sitting by the fire just relaxing and meeting other guests. And our room with the view of the mountain was sensational. The food was great - and we enjoyed the whole dining experience. The location was breathtaking. To be in such a remote location and to have access to Chimborazo was a wonderful experience and one we really appreciated. And to be so close to alpacas as was also a treat. So it was an incredible experience all round - made even better by the wonderful team of people working there. They were all sensational.
