This is a beautiful old world hotel, with fantastic vintage furniture in beautiful and huge rooms with lovely decor and with all mod cons, and is situated bang in the middle of Surabaya. Checkin is swift and easy, and the staff are well trained and courteous. This is by no means the cheapest high end place in Surabaya but, without a doubt, it is the best value for what you get. And it is the most historical, interesting and the best located hotel. Surabaya doesn't really have more than a weekend's worth of attractions, but this hotel is a major attraction itself, and is a short walk to all the other attractions that Surabaya has to offer. Not only that, it is strategically located near a large Mall, with great shopping, ATMs, and food options. The hotel also has a great bar for socialising.

Each room is fitted with air conditioning, and certain rooms at the hostel have a balcony. We were surprised by how affordable this place was given the quality. The interior is modern with a touch of Javanese style, and the common areas are spacious with plenty of seating. The staff sent us recommendations for food and activities around Banyuwangi before we arrived, which was really helpful. It's just a short Grab ride to the port!

We arrive pretty late and he even uprgraded our room we are endless thankful, for everything you greeted us with a big smile and amazing service.

Love the design of the courtyard. The best I've seen in a location. The cats were friendly and cute. Staff let me borrow a multi-plug on a 2m lead dilute to the tlroom only having 2 sockets. BIG thanks for that :) They sent a WhatsApp message with really helpful info like restaurants etc. Good atmosphere (with the exception of ignorant guests.)
