Yussuf, the very nice driver, picked us up from the airport and drove us to the accommodation, making the start of our adventure stress-free. Upon arrival, the entire team welcomed us warmly, and we felt comfortable right away. The location of the accommodation was absolutely incredible—nestled in the middle of the green and above a waterfall, it was the perfect escape into nature. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was always full of good vibes and laughter. We also booked the jungle trek with them, and it was beyond amazing. Our guide, Wahyu, was exceptional! He shared so much knowledge about the jungle, gave us all the time we needed to soak it all in, and made the trek unforgettable. Thanks to him, we saw 9 orangutans and had some truly magical moments in the wild. The entire team was so lovely and fun to be around—they really made our stay special. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend everyone to stay here and book the jungle tour with them. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

Fadhila was great host and the place was very clean. The price I paid here compared to my earlier stays were lower.

The villa provides a restaurant serving American cuisine, as well as free WiFi throughout the property. I very much enjoyed my stay here. I spent 2 nights before my jungle trek and 1 night after. I booked the 2 day/1 night jungle trek with them as well. I actually think that is the only way you can stay at their guesthouse, so they ensure that their trekking clients have accommodation. Communication with the manager, Dedycool was faultless, from the time i made my initial inquiry to when the driver picked me up at the airport. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I've had in 5 months of travel, and the AC did the job. The staff could not have been more welcoming, both upon arrival and every time I came for a meal or returned from an outing. The location outside of the village ensured a peaceful nights sleep. I enjoyed the 30 minute walk to the center, allowing me to see people going about their daily lives. The jungle trek was phenomenal in every way. Both guides, Edwin and Janet, were professional and got excited when we saw orangutans (we saw 7). The food both at the guesthouse and on the trek was very tasty. The trekking was challenging but not overly so. It was fun scrambling up hillsides using vines and roots as foot and hand holds. The camping was much more comfortable than I expected. The camping mats were thick, and the lightweight sleeping bag was just right for the temperature. The rafting back to the village was super fun and a great way to end the 2 days in the jungle. I'm very pleased with my decision to book through Sumatra Orangutans Treks.
