This was the best hotel experience I had on my trip. You could feel the human attitude and care in everything. and everything was just very pleasant. We didn't see much of the surroundings because there was a lot of fog and our stay was relatively short, but we experienced a magical atmosphere. Breakfast made from local products and warm, home-baked bread. This is a family business and you can really feel the family in this place.

It was a very cute cabin with and amazing view at the lake.We had everything we needed for short stay,we could evening cook some dinner on the kichenette. It was also very reasonably priced compared to other cabins/apartment we stayed at on our Iceland trip

The view out on to the harbour was really fantastic, smell of salty water and seaweed, just like home. Beautiful dining area. I met the owner of the property, who was really nice to speak with. The staff were great too. The northern lights were just so beautiful.

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. What a beautiful guest house. Easily the nicest place that we stayed at during our trip around Iceland. We wish we had stayed a little longer here.

Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses in Egilsstadir provides adults-only accommodation with a private beach area and a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The chalet offers lake views and a picnic area. Just an absolute 10/10 accomidation. Cozy little cabin in the woods about 20-30 minutes outside Egilsstaðir. The have everything you could possible need for a wonderful stay. We had dimm and rainy weather so we lit up the fireplace for a warm and cozy evening. Falling to sleep in the upper room with rain falling on the roof was delightful. If you are having second thoughts about booking this accomidation - go for it! You will not regret it.
