Everything was fine.No bad smells,no insects,everything super clean,very nice beds with normal to hard mattresses,a lot and big pillows , fast WiFi,nice and polite owners,hot water-heating was fine.full kitchenettes,big fridge,the kitchen is superb,though we did not cook.nice quiet neighborhood.parking for car at nearby 20m open place with a ticket about 15$ per day,looked safe with a lot of police patrol there.Great quiet location in the old town and near the new.

Aretusa Vacanze is located in a completely renovated 17th-century building at the centre of Syracuse's Ortygia Island. It offers self-catering rooms. The bed and breakfast is in the heart of the historic center of Syracuse. The owner Stefano is a very charming young man who helped us with the luggage and parking. He arranged a private city tour for us and a restaurant for dinner. His entire family, parents and kids, work in this family business. The breakfast was great with a wide selection of sausages, croissants, eggs, bacon, coffee, etc. and was served on a roof terrace. There is an elevator in the building which is very helpful. Very easy communication with the owner. Would definitely recommend this property for your stay in Syracuse.

Set in the heart of Siracusa, Hotel Teocrito offers air-conditioned rooms with satellite channels and high-speed internet connection free throughout. A 24-hour concierge service is available. The staff were really helpful and gave us tips where to go to feel the local vibes and tell us about the life in Siracusa. The room was very comfortable and clean. Also, the location is close to the local sightseeing spots even by foot, including Ortigia Island. They offered a great variety of breakfast, both continental style and sweet pastries, water and juices, and a very tasty coffee -different style. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Siracusa and would recommend it to everyone else.
