The staff took such good care of us from the moment we arrived, Suji, Jay and Sana especially, but everyone was so kind and helpful. They have a small van to easily drive you into town or to activities and to pick you up whenever you’re finished. Sana recommended several local activities and took us to beautiful photo spots. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the view of Lion Rock our bed was magical. There is a restaurant on site and the pool was refreshing after hiking up Lion Rock on a hot day. Seriously one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! 10/10

Set in beautiful location, surrounded by jungle. Room was super clean. Breakfast amazing with different varieties such as eggs, fruit, coconut pancakes, big pot of good strong coffee and much more. It takes 3 minutes to walk to the main road. Restaurants and atm walking distance. Sigiriya rock again walking distance. Host was amazing, helpful and kind. I would definitely go back. We loved it there.

A tranquil retreat perched on hills, Heritance Kandalama offers panoramic views of the Sigiriya Rocks. Boasting a spectacular architecture, this unique design hotel provides 3 impressive pools and exotic activities like bird watching. The hotel is amazing. It has 3 amazing pools with a great view on the lake. It is surrounded by nature (and wild monkeys!!). The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Also the breakfast buffet is incredible. Finally, the staff is incredibly kind and professional. A special mention must go to Dulsha working in the Cafe Kachchan who made our stay all the more unique.

I cannot rate our stay here highly enough and dont really know where to start. We were so glad we had three nights here and could have stayed longer. Dinusha and his staff were the absolute best. We had so many laughs with them. We got taken to the Dambulla caves and the vegetable and spice markets which was a fantastic day. There is a perfect view of Lion Rock from the balcony. The dinner we had there was delicious but there are also lots of good options a 10 minute walk away down from the side road where Lion See is. The beers were a good price and cold, the pool was immaculate and the rooms were big and clean. I honestly can't find any faults with this place and we were sad to leave.
