Prior to arrival he assured us that they could cater for one of our party who is vegan and also arranged a full-day safari for us. We had a large family room which was immaculate with great facilities. Each night, Roshan's wife cooks an incredible buffet for the guests, all freshly prepared with a huge choice. The food was amazing and Roshan and his family made our stay memorable.

The room was peacefull and tidy, sleeping with all the forest noises was fabulous. We highly reccomend to stay here!

The property provides lagoon views. The staff are the best! Specially the manager Jessie, so nice to talk to and helped us with everything we needed. The rest of the staff were also lovely. Location is amazing, if you want a very beach jungle vibe this is the place. The pool bar was probably my favourite. Oh and if you want to go to the beach you go by boat, just a couple of minutes. Almost no tourist around.

The seafood platter for dinner was superb. I highly recommend it for visitors to stay here.

The sunset River Safari arranged by the property was amazing. Our guide, Mubarak, had the most amazing eye to spot beautiful birds along the way. The food offered at the restaurant was healthy and tasty. We will definitely recommend this property to our friends and family.

It is located at a-minute walk away from the Rascals kite surfing school where you can rent equipment, learn how to kite surf and free boat transfer to main kite surfing beach. Yoga classes are available at an extra cost. We had the most incredible stay at Anawasal in Kalpitiya! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a little slice of paradise. The atmosphere was so peaceful, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms were gorgeous – spacious, clean, and with such a lovely rustic vibe that really makes you feel close to nature. Waking up to those views was just amazing. We loved how many activities there were to choose from. Kitesurfing was a definite highlight – the instructors were fantastic and made the whole experience so much fun. The yoga classes were also such a great way to relax and unwind after an active day. And the food – wow! Every meal was packed with fresh, local ingredients and full of flavor. They were so accommodating with dietary preferences too, which made everything so easy. What really stood out to us was how much they care about sustainability and supporting the local community. It’s not just a beautiful place to stay; it feels like you’re part of something meaningful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a unique, relaxing, and adventure-filled getaway, we can’t recommend Anawasal enough!
