The cottage was perfect with the most comfortable bed I have slept in so far in Namibia. Jessica and Peter are absolutely amazing, so welcoming and my daughter loved playing with their little son. Jessica helped book a catamaran tour at late notice and we were also very pleased to get our laundry sorted here. We loved the family atmosphere and all the animals. Thanks for having us! We loved to stay there, the staff was so friendly and welcoming and attentive! The room was in fact a whole appartement with washing machine, kitchen, living room and garage with direct access from inside. They booked MC Tours 4x4 for bay catamaran in the morning and sandwich harbor in the afternoon! Great service, delicious food and drinks all day long! Not to mention Cowboy our driver who gave us true rodeo on the dunes, along with country music & great history pieces of information! Highly recommended!

Situated just 14 km from Omaruru Railway Station, Ondudu Safari Lodge features accommodation in Omaruru with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a bar, as well as full-day security. The furnishings, like cushions for outside chairs, was a little uneven ie some had cushions and others did not. The location in a private reserve was spectacular with huge boulders and views spectacular. There are quite a few trails which you can walk by yourself. Servings at dinner and breakfast were generous; tea time cake was a lovely addition. I recommend this place before or heading out of Windhoek. No. 6, which a friend stayed in, was the best for views but a fair walk from the restaurant!
