We loved the sunsets, the flowers, the view from our Bungalow was amazing, like a postcard! Visby center is near by and is really great, has many places to visit and explore. Also, many places to eat. I really recommend this place!

Three nights were not enough! For us Strandakar made for an ideal home base for exploring the island’s many treasures. Our hosts Charlotte and Lars were the perfect guides in helping us make the most of our days. Breakfasts and dinners were both beautifully prepared and delicious. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. For all of Strandakar’s charms and beauty, it is the hosts are the magic that makes this place special and one to return to again. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was both tasty and beautifully laid out. We had to leave very early to catch the ferry so we couldn't have breakfast on the day we left, but the hotel gave us vouchers for breakfast on the ferry back to Oskarshamn, and that was really nice. Best of all the beds were comfortable.
