Everything is tasteful: fresh wild flowers at the entrance, a nice common refrigerator, a common area and a very welcoming host. The breakfast was delicious, abundant and made freshly every day by the host. She also helped us to plan our day and it was the best day we could have had on the island. She truly is a lovely lady.

At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving local cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options can also be requested. We arrive late on a sunday and the manager still took the time to give us a tour and explain about the history of the place. The restaurant was unfortunatly closed and we stayed only one night, but we loved the place, it is peaceful and at the same time right in the city (less than 10min walk to the nearest grocery store to plan your breakfast). We slept very well and the facilities were cleaned and equipped with all you need.

We stayed here for skördefest in autumn (end of september). Outside it was allready cold, but inside it was cozy and warm. We liked the scandinavian design (count all the lamps ;) Our host provided all the information about trips and activities on Öland in several languages (go to trollskogen!). The appartment isn't acutally IN Mörbylånga city, but about a few kilometres away. But there is a really nice coast way to Mörbylånga and an ICA Supermarket is near, so that was ok for us. A highlight was the very clean and large bathroom with the big shower.
