The host was great and helpful, we were running late because of the traffic and he waited for us. Breakfast was so delicious and huge portions. Small sitting area around fire pit is ideal for evening drinks. All in all best stay during our Ugandan trip. Thank you.

The dorm was great, very comfortable and so was the main house. You will really miss out if you don't book at Home on the Nile!! I had the Spaghetti Bolognese for dinner and it was a delicacy!! Can only recommend ;) Even when I wanted to move at night I was provided with a trusted Boda Boda Driver. Same for my planned activities. I felt very cared for.

One of my highlights of my 10 days of travel in Uganda was staying in Jinja at Home on the Nile. The location is incredible looking out over the water. It was very peaceful, and I loved relaxing and reading on the balcony. It's also close to the town centre and lovely cafes (for instance only a 20-minute walk or a very quick boda boda to The Deli). The staff were incredible -- extremely welcoming, kind, and helpful. They made my stay memorable and helped to organize a white-water rafting trip for me. If I'm back in Jinja, I will always try to stay here!
