From the moment I walked into Mandarine Hostel, everything was 5*. The owner Sokol has clearly taken great pride in the building, ensuring that all fixtures are functional (many were new) and spotlessly clean. The hostel itself had the feel of a boutique hotel and is by far the best I have ever stayed in. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe, welcome and entirely at home behind Mandarine’s secure gate, surrounded by beautiful orange trees in season. I joked that the rates should go up - but they really should - so make sure you stay here before it’s fully booked for the year. Bravo Mandarine!

Everything was excellent, from the friendly and helpful staff to the comfortable room and cleanliness. The location was ideal, and the nearby café was a perfect spot for a morning coffee. As a group traveling by car from another country, the private parking available on-site was incredibly convenient. I would definitely consider staying here again.
