Our group of friends had an absolutely fantastic stay at this guesthouse! The location was truly amazing – it provided the perfect base for exploring the area and offered a wonderful atmosphere. As a bonus for animal lovers, we also really enjoyed the company of the guesthouse's dogs. They were so sweet and friendly, adding an extra touch of warmth to our stay. Great host! Edmund went out of his way to ensure we had a super stay. He gave me a personal tour of his beloved garden. We were free to gather fresh fruit from his bountiful fruit trees. The room was spacious, clean and a bit quirky, in a good way. My bed was very comfortable. It has plenty of parking. Guest House in Alaverdi would be my first choice for a place to stay if I ever happened to pass through Alaverdi again.

Family run hotel located in the centre of nice little village, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. It has a restaurant with tasty local dishes, few small shops just across the road, good WiFi. Very kind owner with well spoken English. Place to store our 2 bicycles.

Iris is absolutely lovely!! When I arrived she made me some herbal tea. If you contact her on WhatsApp she’ll help you arrive to the property by public transport and even come pick you up if needed! She also arranged my bus to Yerevan the next day and they picked me up right at her house. The cost was only 2000 dram. There’s also a great little hiking trail right from her house that goes to Sedvi Monastary. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Loved staying here!
