We stayed in the apartment part of the accommodation, which is brand new. There’s an elevator to the rooms, and everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The view is amazing! There are lots of hiking trails nearby, and also many other places to see in the area. Breakfast was tasty and enough for a good start to the day. The owner and staff were very kind and helpful. They often asked if we needed anything, which we really appreciated. I definitely recommend this place!

Turnau is a very small village, so if you want peace and quiet, this is a perfect place. The little cottage we had was perfect, cozy, comfortable and warm, but it was equipped with everything needed (coffee machine, tv, fridge, cooking appliances). The whole inn had quite a traditional vibe, which I really liked, because I felt very taken care of. The breakfast is continental (so pastries and hams + soft boiled eggs) and it was really delicious. Everything was perfect!

This is an exceptional place: the old house in the garden, tastefully designed modern apartment and very nice owners! And of course, beautiful mountains all around. Next summer we must stay longer. Or even this one :-)

Herzogberghof is on the hill above the small town (Kindberg) with amazing panorama to the valley and the opposite mountains. The owner and his family brought a new life to an old guesthouse. The rooms are renewed with their own force, deserves to be helped. You will feel like a homestay, they do everything to make you feel pleasantly. Not a five -star hotel, but prices neither are hotel prices. If you need a clean room with a beautiful view, great breakfast and friendly people not far (20 mins by car) from the Semmering ski-slopes, then Herzogberghof a perfect choice!

    Such a nice room with a fantastic mountain view and balcony. The owner greeted us with champagne and her amazing friendly dog. The stay was nice and the cold breakfast satisfying. You can play pool at the end of the hall. The owner can give great advice regarding where to go and what to see. I slept incredibly well here.

    The owner was very nice, made us feel welcomed and suggested a magnificent evening walk. We also appreciate very much our early coffee, hiking day started perfect. The place itself was also great, beautiful room and perfect location especially when coming by public transport and also to start an early hike. Will definitely come back:)

    Large, lovely room with an exceptional view from the spacious balcony, an extraordinary breakfast and the sweetest host ever! Also located directly in front of the bus stop and fantastic hiking trails which is extremely convenient for anyone who isn't traveling by car. Highly recommend this place! :D
