The hotel's attention to detail in maintaining the property was evident throughout our stay. From the pristine lobby to the well-kept gardens, it was clear that they take great pride in ensuring a top-notch guest experience. Our suite was nothing short of luxurious. The elegant design, coupled with the cozy fireplace, created a delightful ambiance that made us feel like we were indulging in a five-star retreat. The large balcony provided a picturesque view of the tranquil river, making it a perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee or unwind in the evenings. The pool area was a definite highlight of our stay. With its sparkling clean waters and comfortable loungers, it quickly became our go-to spot for relaxation. The poolside service was impeccable, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect day under the sun. Overall, this hotel was the crown jewel of our Canada trip this year. We had an excellent stay at the Velvet Fern. The home was beautiful and fully stocked. Our baby was comfortable and we were in a great location to explore Courtenay. I'd highly recommend it to anyone hoping to visit.

The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. A welcome food hamper was waiting for us in our room. A clean room with a very comfortable bed. We had a fridge, and a coffee machine as standard, but there was also a free coffee machine (with a variety of different coffees) available to use at any time near reception.

Featuring an indoor pool and waterslide, this hotel is located next to Courtenay Airpark and 1 km from the town centre. Free Wi-Fi and a hot breakfast buffet are also provided.

We were very pleased with our choice of hotel and found it excellent. Its quality exceeds many 4 star hotels. Attractive lobby and dining areas. The rooms were very comfortable and well furnished. We could open the window rather than relying on aircon. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean. Our family loved the indoor pool and slide. Staff had good eating recommendations. I would happily stay there again and definitely recommend this hotel.

Beautiful location, very convenient for the airport, cosy rooms, breakfast was small but tasty, staff were amazing and so friendly and accommodating. Would absolutely return again.

I really love this place. And Michelle was very kind with me. She helped me and took care to know if I had everythings. The guesthouse is in a neighbourhood very quiet and close to comox (20min walking). Thanks again Michelle for theses great moments.

Amazing house! Perhaps the most beautifull dining room with open kitchen I have ever seen. The large window provides a wide view over the mountain. The place was very clean. The kitchen is extremy well equipped. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom, with a bath next to the window looking over the mountain. The beds were very comfortable. We regretd no staying longer.
