It was clean, modern, and very quiet. I was a late check-in, and reception was easy. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was very nice. While it is about 20 minutes outside Matane, it is worth the distance. I have stayed at multiple spots in town while traveling, and most are outdated and loud road noise. Motel M is in a small town and exceptionally quiet with modern appeal.

    Fantastic location (make sure you book a room with sea/Saint Lorenz) view. Great breakfast is available - but is not included in room rate... (a bit pricy, but was worth it)

    It was so close to the St. Lawrence! we enjoyed watching the sunset along the water’s edge. Parking in front of our unit made it super easy to load and unload. The grassed area near our room made it east to take our dog out. Location was great to the town amenities including restaurants and stores.
