Very beautiful location, the hotel is very cute and authentic, the nature around is just amazing, perfect destination to have a rest on the way to the northern part of Italy. Cuore Alpino is the perfect base to explore the beautiful Valle di Blenio. Easy to reach by public transport and a great starting point to go exploring in various directions. Sara is an incredible host who made the stay extra special: she's super kind, attentive, helpful, knowledgeable and clearly loves what she does. This is also reflected in the house: from the communal spaces to the rooms themselves you can tell a lot of love and care has gone into every detail, there's a lot of character as well as a very high standard of cleanliness. Breakfast is also delicious and locally sourced, and Sara adapted it for us being vegan. 100% recommended to anyone who's thinking about visiting the area, and we'll definitely choose to stay at Cuore Alpino next time we're there.

We were having a familly roadtrip and were looking for a get together place, comfy and quiet. Guess what we found, the best option, a lovely chalet with a lot of charm and space, several bedrooms for a bit of intimacy, nice bathrooms and a charming terrasse, all in simplicity. The access is quite simple and not far away from the main road, the view is amasing, and the village is very calm. We would certainly return! All that without mentioning the hospitality of the owner, that welcomed us warmly and showed the place around, made sure that we had all we needed. We recommend the place 100% and would like to again thank the owner for the amasing stay we had.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They kindly accepted a parcel of dried food for us in advance and even helped us dry our wet tent. We also received extra vegan breakfast options, including vegan Nutella — a lovely touch! The view from La Sctalèta is stunning, and the building itself is truly special: a charming blend of traditional stone grotto and warm, wooden interior. The kitchen was well-equipped, even offering two sizes of Bialetti with fresh ground coffee — perfect for making espresso. Just a heads-up: the accommodation is in the hosts’ garden, so you may encounter their friendly dog and children playing in front of your window. This wasn’t an issue for us at all, and only added to the homely atmosphere.
